What about Fresno? Here in Fresno, we have something else altogether -- our own unique Fresno sound. With that in mind, Creative Fresno presents the Fresno Urban Sound Experience, a celebration and exploration of the city's musical landscape, featuring musical acts reaching across musical genres -- from rock to rap, alternative to jazz, and other styles thrown in for that truly authentic Fresno mix.


Mission: Showcasing Fresno's Music Scene


Fresno, situated in the heart of the Central Valley, is strategically located between two of the principal music markets in the world, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Not only benefiting from national and regional touring bands traveling through the area, many of Fresnos local bands travel to Northern and Southern California to perform regularly. Add to this one of the most diverse communities in the entire United States and you have a culture of musicians like none other.

Annual musical events and a collection of local venues present these artists to new and old fans alike throughout the year. The Fresno Urban Sound Experience will provide not only a sampling of various artists, but an opportunity to experience Fresnos Local Music Scene. A unique showcase of musical talents in the heart of our city, Downtown Fresno. It will be one not to miss and surely not soon forgotten.
